It took Amazon more than 20 days post delivery to get the installation done (in Bengaluru). They are highly irresponsible in this regard and you yourself will have to contact the panasonic customer care or the local dealer assigned for installation. I spent hours calling Amazon, Panasonic and the local head for installation. I had to literally plead for installation as the warranty would be void if you get the installation done by someone else. By the time installation was done, summer was almost over.
Further, after using it a month or so I haven’t realised any significant difference in this Ac and other 1.5 ton AC. The only thing that nanoex mode does is that it cools a lot further (may be kills bacteria in doing so, I am not sure). It’s cooling capacity is much better, little noise during operation and the external unit is fantastic.
The only two star rating I am giving is due to the satisfactory product. I would have rated 4.5 if the service provided by Amazon was not so horrible.
But even then, you can opt for cheaper options as you won’t be using nanoex mode always. In fact we only use it twice or thrice a week.

I see that it’s working to expectations.
If I compare to a air purifier, I closed room it cleans the air from PM10=80 to PM10=8 within 30 minutes.
This AC, in quiet mode, cleans air dt.PM10=80 to PM10=40 in 30 minutes and to PM10=8 in 120 minutes,quite slow air purification, but you get fresh air from outside as against standalone air purifier.
If you want faster purification plus fresh air, use this AC along with Panasonic Air purifier.
The nanoe-x technology can’t be tested or verified at home.
You need to put the electric neon tester inside the AC to check if nanoe is working.
If you compare with any ion generator, the tester glows at 5 inches from the 10000rs ion generator.
The LED display us very very bright on the indoor panel, you can switch off your led tube light while you work and cover it with cellotape at night 🙂

This is the best AC I can say, cooling speed is super fast, MirAle app helps to customize AC as per our need, which I find the best addition.
I bought this for my 9 months baby and keeping the temperature around 28-29, as it’s suitable for him.
I would definitely recommend this AC, go for it without thinking anything.

Spoiler: Panasonic is number one AC brand in Japan; unfortunately, this AC made in India.
Cooling*
I am using this in my 180 square feet room.
When I set AC at 20 Degree, while room temp 31 degree after 30 Mins, it comes 27.3 degrees.
It’s taken 2 hrs to give 22-degree output in 100 square feet too.
Power Consumed*
3 hrs running 2 Unit, if you use Jetstream it may increase.
Noise*
very low sound: when the fan in quite, you can sleep without disturbance.
Features:
Jet Stream- Not feel any changes in cooling, other than fan noise get high level.
Nanoe G/Nanoe X- Called Nanoe in app & remote; AC will give the blue indicator; you cannot find the Air purification value or any other….
Eco Navi— button, you can find the green light in display, not making any magic.
Wifi- will get connect 1 min delay from power on the switch.
*Installation: Product installation service good and free, AC not cooling faster technician can’t do any magic during the demo.
I choosed this AC , bcz all users given 4+ star, you need to think , I used to get good cooling in other brand, the added Features won’t be there, but it’s not making any different except the Voice control.

It has been a week I’ve started using this Panasonic AC, and I’m satisfied with the overall performance of this AC.
The ONLY disappointment is the MirAIe app. Despite updating to the newer versions of the android app thrice this week, and even after showing as connected to the AC, in the final step, I keep on receiving the error code as 193 and 199. On 3rd day, I’ve successfully connected via iOS. All the features on the remote are unavailable on app. Energy consumption is missing on iOS whereas available on Android. Yet, the energy consumption on android is blank even after 3 days of use!
Connection setup on iOS:
Step 1:
Firstly, you need to register yourself as a user with your Email ID or Mobile number, and you will receive an email confirmation to authenticate your details.
Step 2:
Enter your registered details Email/Mobile number to log in with the password you have registered.
Step 3:
Click the + (PLUS) symbol on the home screen of the app to add device. Choose Panasonic AC and next Click and hold the SMART button on AC remote for few secs and Wi-Fi symbol appears and then search starts for a nearby Panasonic AC. Click the found Panasonic AC.
Step 4:
Add your HOT SPOT or Home Wi-Fi details in this step. I’ve chosen HOTSPOT started on another mobile and entered the Password of the hotspot. People with DSL modem connected to the Wi-Fi unit can give the details of that here. Since you are setting this up for the 1st time setup, a confirmation will be received on your app and an email too. Make sure you have turned on ONLY 2.4GHz while connection setup if your Wi-Fi is dual-band.
Multiple users cannot log in with the same credentials. You need to log off from one and log into another!
RATING for APP: 1/5. UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING Experience!
I’ve NEVER used the app on Android as every time the app is freezed. All the icons are pale indicating they are not active! Which means the app is NOT working! NO tab works. Whereas the app works on iOS 12.5.1 occasionally.
This is an indicator that the app is in BETA Phase of development and all these bugs needs to be addressed in the upcoming releases. So, for the Panasonic’s CONNECTED LIVING TO BE A REALITY may take at least the next 6 months!
Power Consumption:
The indoor unit of the AC clearly states that for every 1 degree rise in temperature we can save the power bill by 6%. The manual says temperature can be setup from 18 degrees to 30 degrees. I’ve turned on AC from 9:30 Pm till 6:30 Am @ 30 degrees and its very cool even @ 30 the power consumed was mere 3 units (347l Bosch Refrigerator is ON along with this). If you feel that the temperature is NOT sufficient just tap the fan button and increase the fan speed you could enjoy better cooling without increasing the temperature! When our human body temperature is @37 degrees how good is to keep the AC on at 24 degrees and use a blanket to feel the warmth? Instead, use AC @ 28-30 degrees and save power bill too! 😊
In the afternoons I’ve turned the AC on for a couple of hours @ 28 degrees. The usual daily average consumption of power is 6.5 units, and now it’s exactly 10 units! So, if you run half a day @ 28-30 degrees, your power consumption is mere 3.5 units!
Now I’m using the AC @ 30 degrees with setting of FAN in Auto and dry mode! It’s comfortably awesome with NO noise and SUPER Saver on power bill! Give a try!
Some users complained about the sound of the unit. Its negligible and can be ignored. Haven’t checked the outdoor unit after trial run BUT on the day, it was installed it was also negligible BUT my Carrier AC was super silent.
I’ve got this unit for 43.5K at a dealer in Bangalore with a whopping 34% discount. Paid 1K (NO bill received so NO GST either!) for the installation which included core drilling and fixing the outdoor too.
